So here’s the thing about publishing. It takes forever.

I know this. I used to work in publishing! But it’s been so hard to sit on this news since MARCH when I’ve wanted to scream it from the rooftops.

In a way, it all happened so quickly…within about three weeks from sending the manuscript for Henry Tudor Must Die out to editors, I was accepting an offer. I had been prepared to be on sub for months, which is normal, but this book found the right home at the right time.

I signed the contract in July. And now, seven+ months from when I started, here I am finally able to share that I have a two-book deal with Berkley, an imprint of Penguin Random House!

But good things are worth the wait. As my agent said, Berkley really is “the mothership” for me. At a glance, I can count about twenty Berkley books on my shelves, including some of my favorite authors like Emily Henry and Ashley Herring Blake. (If I am lucky, one day I might join those romcom ranks, too.)

By now, Henry Tudor Must Die already has a pub date—July 21, 2026!—and has gone through a developmental edit with my amazing editor, Sarah Blumenstock, and a copyedit. And I may even have something so magical as **A COVER**!

Cheers from this over-the-moon Berkley author, and much more to come!
